The 13th of December 2011: Chez Clement, Shakespeare and Co., Souvenir Shopping at St Michel
- After our French Final Christine and I headed straight to the 6th Arrondissement to have some Lunch at Chez Clément. It’s a little chain restaurant in Paris that our French Professor recommended to us on an excursion at the beginning of the program. You can spot them easily because they are decorated with pots in front of the door as you can see from the picture. “Tres Sympa” she described it… and it was!
- It was so TASTEY! We ordered a Pot dish that included Beef and an lot of boiled Veggies. Christine and I were in love with the food at first bite. I can’t say that I’ve splurged a lot on dinner since I am served dinners 4 times a week, but after eating here I can honestly say it makes top three for me - of restaurants that I have been to. ;D We went all out with a Glass of Wine and Dessert to finish. My first Creme Brulée and I loved it ;D
- We later spent the afternoon at Shakespeare and Co where we both bought books ;D Mine: Ernest Hemingway A Moveable Feast (I lost the one I brought here &was determined to finish it before leaving Paris) We decided to spend an hour or so just reading in there because of the rain. It felt nice to just relax and read a bit. Finals are almost over but not quite, yet!
** Finished Souvenir Shopping and It took forever! Can’t wait to pass out the goodies when I get home tho ;D
